
Panagiotis Kousoulis was born in Stuttgart, Germany in 1976 and was raised in the city of Sparta.
At the age of 19, he left Sparta to follow his dream, to serve Greece as a Military doctor.
He graduated from the Military Medical School and Aristotle's University of Thessaloniki in the year 2000.
He served Hellenic Air Force as a doctor in the 251 Air Force General Hospital in 2001, where he was trained in Aviation Medicine for the first time.

He served Hellenic Air Force as a doctor in the 251 Air Force General Hospital in 2001, where he was trained in Aviation Medicine for the first time.
In 2003 he was selected by the Air Force to be trained as a Flight Surgeon, and received his training as a co-pilot in the T-6A Texan aircraft. During the same year and again in 2005, he successfully completed the Primary School of Aerospace Medicine and the Advanced School of Aerospace Medicine in San Antonio, Texas, USA. Since then, he serves as a Flight Surgeon in Hellenic Air Force, actively participating in Aviation Medicine research. Due to his interest in Otorhinolaryngology, he focused in the Ear, Nose and Throat problems that pilots experience during flight, such as motion sickness, spatial orientation and disorietation, vestibular illusions, barotis and barosinusitis.
In 2007, he started his training in Otorhinolaryngology. He was first appointed a post as a surgical trainee in the 1st Surgical Department of Kalamata General Hospital and continued in the Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) department of Nikea-Piraeus General Hospital. His ambitious nature motivated him to seek further training and surgical experience in ENT outside the borders of Greece. He worked in Brighton and Sussex University Hospital and in Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital, Brighton as a Senior House Officer and as a Specialty Registrar in th Ear Nose and Throat Department. He completed the Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialty training in 2013 in "Attikon" University Hospital in Athens.
After the completion his training, he was appointed as a consultant in Otorhinolaryngology in the Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) Department of 251 Air Force General Hospital in Athens
After oral and written examinations, he received the Diploma in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (2011), from the Royal College of Surgeons, UK and the Fellowship of the European Board in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (2013).
Since the end of 2013, he is transfered to 120 Flight Training Wing, in Kalamata, where he works as the head of the Medical Service.
Panagiotis Kousoulis practices Ear Nose and Thoat (ENT) privately in the city of Kalamata, while at the same time he offers services in Kalamata General Hospital, as an ENT Specialist.
He performs Ear Nose and Throat operations in 251 Air Force General Hospital and in private ENT hospitals in Athens, like ORL Athens Clinic, Athinaiki Mediclinic, Iaso General Hospital και Iaso Children's Hospital.
He is married and is a proud father of three children.
